Noji was born in Los Angeles, California, and is an only child. Her father is an Engineer and her mother is an accountant; her grandfather was a Painter and she has various aunts who paint and sculpt. Minae attended Glen A. Wilson High School and Mesa Robles Middle school in Hacienda Heights, CA. She graduated from UC Irvine with a BA degree in Sociology and Music. Minae appeared on the soap opera General Hospital, playing the role of Dr. Kelly Lee from 2006 to 2012.
