Technology entrepreneur known for creating and developing the idea that would eventually become known as Twitter. He is responsible for the name Twitter, which began as "Twttr." He founded the online ordering company Olo, which went public on the New York Stock Exchange in March 2021.
He attended Newton North High School in Massachusetts, where he played lacrosse. In 1999, he graduated from Yale University, where he majored in political science.
After graduating college, he worked for Endeavor and established the non-profit's office in Johannesburg, South Africa. He founded a start-up, known as AudBlog, that was eventually folded into a partnership with Evan Williams. He and Williams then created Odeo, a podcasting company.
In 2008, he married his wife Keiko.
He also worked at Industrial Light and Magic, the company founded by George Lucas.
