Bharucha debuted in Jai Santoshi Ma (2006). She later acted in Love Sex Aur Dhokha directed by Dibakar Banerjee and shot to prominence with Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) produced by Wide Frame wicked pictures. The film was story of three bachelors who fall in love with three different girls. Bharucha plays one of the three girls, Neha, who is in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend, Rajat. She gained popularity as ‘Babu’, Rajat's nickname for her in the film. The film became a sleeper hit of the year with newcomers in the lead. It has now achieved a cult status among the youth. Nusrat's latest feature film, is Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety released on 23 February 2018, Luv Ranjan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, in which she was paired with her Pyaar Ka Punchnama co-star, Kartik Aaryan.
