This competitive RS:X windsurfer competed in the London 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing in twentieth place in her chosen event.
Nine years before becoming an Olympian, she graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
In 2008, she launched "Off the Wind," a blog detailing her windsurfing adventures.
A native of Annapolis, Maryland, she received her high school education at Broadneck High School.
She and Israeli windsurfer Maayan Davidovich both competed in Olympic RS:X women's events.
