Maberly is best known for her portrayal of the role of Kitty Bennet in the BBC's 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. She also had a recurring role as consultant Psychiatrist Lucy Klein in the TV series The Royal. Maberly has also appeared several times on stage.
