Iraqi fashion designer who founded the Edwardian and Victorian-inspired haute couture label Julea Domani. Her label has become hugely respected in the United Arab Emirates and been featured at fashion events like The Bride Show Dubai and Dubai Fashion Week.
She lived in many countries as a child, including Denmark, Romania, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates. She created her first collection in 2006.
She was named Best Female Designer for Prêt-à-Porter at Dubai Fashion Week in 2009.
Her mother was also a fashion designer. Her father was an interior designer.
She has cited Elie Saab as one of her favorite designers.
