Jeff Marchelletta was born on February 19, 1924 in  Oyster Bay, New York, United States, is Actor, Producer, Miscellaneous Crew. Born and raised on Long Island, Jeff grew up 45 minutes outside of NYC. His exposure to the performing arts as a child were school plays and family trips to Broadway during the holiday season, which was more than enough to spark interest in a career that would develop years later. Jeff studied Architecture and Fine Arts in college, and even after becoming an executive for one the country's largest builder's right out of the gate, he moved to the Big Apple to launch a very different career - acting. While settling into NYC living, Jeff was approached at a gym and asked if he would be interested in posing for a Playgirl nude centerfold. He remembers thinking "My mother would die!" Although flattered, Jeff turned down the opportunity, but was now intrigued. An agent friend suggested that he attend a casting for male models. So with no experience Jeff showed up, with a hundred others, and a couple of days later found himself fronting Gianni Versace's men's market season in 1998. Then securing an agent, he was able to book other jobs while maintaining his full-time employment. Although fun and exciting, it was not Jeff's passion, but ironically sparked interest in some casting directors which lead to Jeff's first acting job on All My Children. Jeff was taking night acting classes with Naomi Thornton at Michael Howard Studios which deeply inspired him. The theater background and training he received there was crucial in his development as an actor. Jeff then moved onto the stage in several Off-Broadway productions and produced and set designed Six Acts of Love which opened Off-Broadway at NYC's Flatiron Theatre in 1999. Jeff then made the move to Los Angeles and has kept busy with films, television, plays and producing ever since. Jeff has been fortunate to play a wide variety of roles. In 2000, he landed his first lead role in a feature film Hollywood Vampyr opposite Muse Watson (I Know What You Did Last Summer films) and Trevor Goddard (Pirates of the Caribbean). The film was well received in the festival circuit and earned Jeff a Best Actor Nomination at ShockerFest, and has now become somewhat of a gothic cult film. Jeff has since appeared in a variety of indie films, one being a noir thriller This Last Lonely Place officially supported by the Humphrey Bogart Estate in 2014. Jeff has also been widely seen as one of Disneyland's "Disney Dads" featured in dozens of advertisements, brochures and online promos. More recently in 2017 Jeff starred in two TV movies which were top trends on Twitter and social media. Jeff portrayed Dr. Evan Michaels in Forgotten Evil a therapist who is big on hypnosis techniques and tries to help the stories lead remember who she is. Jeff also starred as the dad/ex-husband John Wells in Sinister Minister based on a true story, which premiered on Lifetime in the Top 25 rated shows at No. 15 as reported by TV BY The Numbers. Jeff studied script analysis for many years in both NYC and LA with such renowned teachers as New York Times bestselling author Larry Moss, whom he still studies with today. Jeff is also a partner at Industry Standard Films, a film production company, located in Beverly Hills. Between 2003 and 2005, Jeff produced Ringers: Lord of the Fans, narrated by Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings trilogy), and won the Outstanding Achievement Award in Filmmaking at the 2005 Newport Beach Film festival. Ringers was released worldwide by Sony Pictures and received a 2006 Saturn Award Nomination. In 2011 Jeff executive produced Without, an award winning narrative feature written and directed by Mark Jackson (War Story) which took the international film festival circuit by storm. Without was called "Stunningly evocative" (Variety), "Truly Mesmerizing" (Time Out London) and was nominated for a Gotham Award and is a recipient of a 2012 Indie Spirit Award. Notably in 2017 Without was selected as part of the Cinema Club Screening Series through Arclight Cinemas nationwide and is now distributed by Slamdance Presents. In 2013 Jeff produced This Last Lonely Place written and directed by Steve Anderson, which had a successful Kickstarter campaign and won the Special Jury Prize for Cinematography at the 2014 Newport Beach Film Festival. Jeff also executive produced Uncertain Terms a critically acclaimed feature written and directed by Nathan Silver (Thirst Street) that premiered at the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival and had its international premiere at the 2014 Edinburgh Film Festival where it received a Best International Feature Film Nomination. Jeff most recently produced The White Orchid, which is in post and is the second feature executive produced by The Estate of Humphrey Bogart. Jeff has a few character-driven film projects in development.
